Jakarta – RISKA Adik Asuh (Youth Wing of Sunda Kelapa Mosque) held a Charity Movie Screening of Gaza Hayya 3 at Epicentrum XXI, South Jakarta, on Saturday (14/6). The event attracted people from various backgrounds in Indonesia, from children to adults. The purpose of this charity screening was to express solidarity with Palestine.

Notable Guests in Attendance:
The event was attended by Muammar Milihim (Deputy Ambassador of the Embassy of Palestine), Ahmad Juhandi (Head of Public Welfare, Central Jakarta Administration), Amna Shahab (Actress playing Hayya), and Rizaldi Prasetyo (Chairperson of RISKA).
Ahmad Juhandi opened the event by delivering the first speech, stating that he was representing the Mayor of Central Jakarta, Mr. Arifin, who was unable to attend.
“On behalf of Mr. Arifin, I send his greetings and solidarity to the people of Palestine,”
said Ahmad Juhandi, who spoke fluently in Arabic.
Muammar Milihim responded to the greeting and expressed the Palestinian Embassy’s deep appreciation for the continuous support from the Indonesian people for Palestine’s independence. He added that Indonesia and Palestine have shared strong ties for many years.
“I’m deeply moved by Indonesia’s concern for Palestine. May the relations between both nations remain strong,”
he stated.
Muammar Milihim also expressed admiration for the widespread support for Palestine, not just from Central Java or the island of Java, but from many parts of Indonesia.
The presence of Amna Shahab, the actress from Gaza Hayya 3, further enlivened the screening, which had been running since Thursday (12/6). She warmly greeted the audience that filled the Epicentrum XXI theater.
Amna shared that her involvement in the Hayya film series began in 2019. She encouraged Indonesians to continue supporting Palestine and participate in boycotts.
Appreciation for RISKA’s Youthful Da’wah
In a separate room, Ahmad Juhandi praised the charity screening of Gaza Hayya 3, noting that RISKA Menteng should expand their da’wah efforts by adapting to the modern styles of today’s youth. He emphasized that youth should not abandon the mosque as a space for self-actualization.
He also left a message for the younger generation to embody the spirit of struggle found among the Palestinian people—and to apply it in their daily lives.
RISKA Chairperson Rizaldi Prasetyo reaffirmed that RISKA Menteng continues to speak out on international issues while staying rooted in Islamic values.
Meanwhile, Amna Shahab shared her enjoyable experience filming Gaza Hayya 3, highlighting the fun, relaxed atmosphere and strong camaraderie among the cast and crew.
“It was super fun. Everyone on set was humble and chill. There were challenging scenes, but we managed them. We laughed a lot because so many people on set were hilarious,”
said Amna, who has played Hayya since she was 8 years old.
Solidarity Spirit from RISKA’s Adik Asuh Program

The Gaza Hayya 3 charity screening was prepared over approximately three weeks, from conceptual planning and coordination with stakeholders to the final execution on site. The goal was to create real impact both for Palestine and the RISKA Adik Asuh Program.
Bunga Tri Junisha, Chair of RISKA Adik Asuh, explained that the choice to screen the Warna Pictures-produced film reflected their concern for the Palestinian people and aimed to foster a spirit of global solidarity.
“I chose Gaza for the charity screening because it touches hearts and opens our eyes to the suffering of the Palestinian people. Through this film, I want the audience not just to watch, but to care—and to contribute through donations.
In addition to supporting Palestine, proceeds from this event also go toward sustaining the RISKA Adik Asuh Program. We believe that caring begins at home, while continuing to nurture global empathy,”
explained Bunga.
She emphasized that the Gaza Hayya 3 charity screening also aimed to raise public awareness of the Adik Asuh RISKA (AAR) program.
“Many potential children around us lack supportive environments. Through this program and the donations collected, AAR works to develop their character, improve academic achievements, and grow their entrepreneurial mindset and self-confidence,”
Bunga added.
