Jakarta – The Islamic Youth of Sunda Kelapa RISKA Menteng successfully held a social program at Miftahul Huda Qur’an House in Bogor, West Java, on Sunday (March 16).
This activity, called Anjangsana Sosial RISKA (ANSOR), aimed to renovate the Miftahul Huda Qur’an House to provide a more comfortable learning environment for its students.
Ustadz Dr. (H.C.) Syafruddin Mahud, M.Pd., Head of Dakwah and Education at Sunda Kelapa Grand Mosque, emphasized that the development of Miftahul Huda Qur’an House can serve as a valuable learning experience for RISKA to have a broader impact on society.
“Ir. Soekarno once said, ‘Give me 1,000 elders, and I will uproot Mount Semeru; give me 10 youths, and I will shake the world,’” he quoted.
Rizaldi Prasetyo, Chairman of RISKA 2025–2026, explained that the Anjangsana Sosial RISKA event is held annually and is part of the “Ramadhan with RISKA” series.
Known as Rizal, he expressed his gratitude to all parties who helped make the 2025 Anjangsana Sosial RISKA a success.
“I would like to thank the management of Sunda Kelapa Grand Mosque (DKM) and everyone who contributed. We all work together in synergy,” he said.
Rizal hopes that the construction of Miftahul Huda Qur’an House will help foster a generation centered around the Qur’an.

Asep Jum’at, Secretary of Citempuan Village, expressed his delight at the presence of representatives from Sunda Kelapa Grand Mosque and RISKA at Miftahul Huda Qur’an House.
“May this Anjangsana Sosial RISKA activity bring blessings and protection to us all,” he said.
He also thanked the donors who participated in the event, which included free health checks, training in livestock and agricultural entrepreneurship, educational programs, and craft workshops.
Following the opening ceremony, the event continued with the laying of the first stone for the construction of Miftahul Huda Qur’an House.

Smooth Execution of the Activity
Muhammad Husni, Chair of Anjangsana Sosial RISKA 2025, shared that the event proceeded smoothly.
“I’m really happy to see the enthusiasm from the local community and students of Miftahul Huda Qur’an House,” he said.
He expressed gratitude for the residents’ and students’ willingness to line up for the free health checks.

“As a nurse, it’s my duty to educate the people of Indonesia. I’ve observed limited access to health, especially regarding diabetes, gout, high blood pressure, kidney disease, and more. Prevalence is high, and prevention or control measures are lacking. There’s still insufficient education,” she explained.
Ibu Min, a resident of Citempuan, shared her relief at having a free health check so close to her home.
“I often get health check-ups, but usually my child has to take me. When I heard there was one nearby, I came right away,” she said.
“I’m so happy many people showed up and that there was a free health check,” she added.
During the free health check session, RISKA Menteng collaborated with the Dompet Dhuafa Free Health Service (LKC). Screenings included blood type, blood pressure, blood sugar, hemoglobin level (Hb), and uric acid.
“The enthusiasm from residents and students is amazing. Alhamdulillah, the results show they are healthy,” said Sheira, a representative from Dompet Dhuafa LKC.
RISKA Menteng also partnered with Pondok Inspirasi (Pondasi) for the livestock and agricultural entrepreneurship training session.

Indriyani Nurjanah, from Sukabumi and representing Pondasi, expressed her appreciation for RISKA’s initiative in remote areas.
“RISKA’s breakthroughs are always amazing. Even though this place is quite remote, many people near Bogor don’t even know about it, yet RISKA—based in Jakarta—was able to find it. The programs are excellent as they help the local community,” she said.
“It’s rare to have an event this lively here. In just one day, there are multiple activities: livestock training, agricultural training, health education, and more,” she continued.
RISKA Menteng also provided educational and craft workshops for the students.
Ibu Putri, a parent of one of the female students, said that the Anjangsana Sosial RISKA event brought her happiness. She expressed her gratitude for all the assistance given to Miftahul Huda Qur’an House.
“Thank you to all the RISKA volunteers. May you always be blessed with health and prosperity,” she said.
Furthermore, RISKA Menteng distributed staple food packages and Ramadhan gifts—ranging from food, stationery, to prayer items—to 117 students and seven teachers at Miftahul Huda Qur’an House.
Prior to this, similar packages were given to 14 RISKA Menteng Foster Siblings (Adik Asuh RISKA/AAR) and one teacher on March 9, 2025.
